For me, an estate agency is all about ‘helping’ people. I enjoy the whole process from the listing of a new instruction right through to completion and handing over the keys. I am proud to say that I will always go above and beyond – I have even been known to mow client’s lawns to help show a house off to its very best!

I have been an agent for twenty years and in that time I have been involved in nearly a thousand transactions. With this experience I am adept at dealing with all challenges that inevitably face the housing market. This first-hand experience also allows me to guide homeowners and their buyers through to a mutually desired result.

Having grown up in the West Country I am thrilled to offer my family a slice of the good life and I am always looking forward to doing the same for the clients of GP Weston.

Having worked in the London market for over fifteen years I am now enjoying using this experience to assist my West Country clients. On returning home to Dorset a decade ago, I have been acquiring both residential and commercial properties on behalf of clients. As a result, I know what buyers are looking for in rural properties and how best to make homes appealing.

I listen to my clients and understand their needs which subsequently puts me in the ideal position to achieve the very best possible terms for them. Whatever the brief, I provide an uncompromising level of service. Establishing strong relationships within my local community is key to both my work and family life and I am delighted to be able to achieve this combination at GP Weston.

To change the public’s perception of estate agency by moving away from a transactional service towards a long term, relationship based one through helpful and regular communication. By interacting solely with experienced professionals who make full use of the latest technology, the stress of selling one’s home is minimised. Having spent years working for some of the leading corporate and independent agencies in the country James and Jessica both grew up in Somerset and Dorset before carving out successful careers in the London property market. Fast forward by 20 years, and now both founders of GP Weston have returned home to the South West to give their children the same childhoods that they so enjoyed themselves.

Having gained more than enough confidence and experience (along with more than a little disillusionment in the current way in which some estate agents operate) James and Jessica wanted to set up GP Weston to cast aside corporate red tape and targets. He was honest but ambitious about what was feasible, using years of expertise and recent market data to determine a realistic valuation. He then conducted all the viewings himself. As small problems with the sale arose (as they do in all property sales), James committed to working with us to resolve quickly.
